Corbet R CR Sigman Custom Knife - Hunter - Rare 8 " Total Length
Item History & Price
Part of an estate collection of knives has been sitting in a closet for likely the past 30-40 years and while it looks unused, I have done my best to clearly show areas of rust spots or blemishes that might have developed while in its box. Knife does not look like it was ever used. Please use pictures as description as well as this is a final sale. You can see my past sales to buy with confidence. I have attempted to make the photos high...light flaws even greater than they really look. I did not attempt to clean off the knife beyond wiping down with a micro fiber cloth. Please message me if you have any questions or need additional photos. Feel free to make offers that you believe are fair. See my other auctions for additional knives from this collection. This one is rare (has a brass single hilt) since most of the "Working Hunters" did not have guards installed.
Mr. Sigman's attention to detail is unrivaled among the famous knifemakers. His fit and finish is flawless.
Blade is stamped: "C. R. Sigman Working Hunter HC TS" (stands for High Carbon Tool Steel).Unfortunately Mr. Sigman passed away in 2006 and is greatly missed by the knife making community. This is an example of his earlier work and is a real beauty. 8-1/2" overall length.
