Tell City Salesman Sample Chest VERY rare, EXCELLENT condition. Pattern 3113, Finish: #48 Andover Made by the Tell City Chair Company from Tell City, Indiana. Eleven (11) inches tall by seven (7) inches deep by fourteen (14) inches wide. Everything is original. Center drawer dark spot is a variation in the wood, which appears to be maple, and is not an imperfection or worn spot. The finish is not the light blonde finish but a warm, real wood color an...d, again, is original. All four drawers have their original green felt liners and original hardware. Can be used for any number of purposes, including jewelry storage, office supplies, etc, but absolutely STANDS ALONE as a treasured piece of Americana on its own. This is a spectacular piece of American craftsmanship. Downsizing and need to find a new and loving home for this magnificent piece.
