Offered is a beautiful 19th century Victorian trade card advertising guns , revolvers, fishing tackle and sporting goods , all sold by merchant F. A. Morehouse of 18 Genesee Street in Syracuse, New York. Products specifically mentioned on the rear of the card include the L. C. Smith Top Action, Double cross bolted Breech Loading Shot Gun and the "celebrated" Austin Gun Powder. In addition, F. A. Morehouse touts their business as the manufacturer of Split... Bamboo Fly Rods . The front of the card features a sailing ship within the vignette of an oyster shell. The back features detailed advertising for the various products.
