APPLE Quadra 700 820-8020-C logic board - WORKING
I've pulled this board from a working Quadra 700 (see screenshots). I bought the Quadra for the case, the rest of the parts I have no use for. The general state of the machine was fairly good. The PSU had a leaky capacitor and the floppy drive was stuck beyond repair. But the hard drive was happily spinning and the motherboard works perfectly as far as I've played around with it (although I did not try every single port and slot on i...t).
The features of this logic board are:- Motorola 68040 @ 25 MHz- 4 MB RAM, expanded (back in the day) to 68 MB with 4 x 16 MB 40-pin SIMMs- 512 KB built-in, expandable to 2 MB (with 6 x 256 KB VRAM SIMMs)- Ports: dual serial ports, AAUI ethernet port (the first Mac to have that), mic in, DB-25 SCSI connector, printer, modem, speaker- Slots: 2 NuBus, 1 PDS
As shown in the photos, it still has the 3.6 V lithium battery it originally shipped with in 1992. It is not leaky, nor are there any other leaky, blown or fried parts on the motherboard. You actually have to take a hard look to see that this board was made 30 odd years ago...!
Note on shipping: based on the location of the buyer, I will try to get the lowest quote!
