Here's a little "boudoir" lamp from the early 20th century. The base and shade frame are made of cast metal. The metal features flowers, vines, acanthus leaves and scrolls. The metal shows normal wear for a 100 year old lamp. There is one break in the shade's frame shown in the close up. The shade is lined with fabric that I believe is silk. The fabric has no holes but it is yellowed from age and dust. The lamp and shade can be used as they are but a deep cleaning, or resto...ration, could create a whole new look.
The lamp measures 12" tall. The electrical components work. They look newer than the lamp and I don't see anything alarming.
