Estate sale purchase, so age & history unknown. Great old pail that I believe is made of a combination of brass & copper. It has wonderful age related patina with no holes or defects. Overall it measures 10" tall (without the handle) and 11" in diameter. It has great detail with nail heads along the top and bottom of the pail, as well as on the fastener of the handle.
