NICE OLD CHINESE BRONZE FOOTED CENSER BOWL WITH SUPERB LARGE HARDWOOD LOTUS LID Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions. Up for auction with No Reserve is a NICE OLD CHINESE BRONZE FOOTED CENSER BOWL WITH SUPERB LARGE HARDWOOD LOTUS LID. The Censer is a nice large example with great Carved designs and stylized Elephant Head form feet. The Lid though is really the Star of this Bowl though, being completly Hand Carved with the best high designs and great pierce work. The Bowl has been in the estate for decades to I know it has some age but please decide for yourself the exact age before bidding.
Condition : The Bronze Censer itself is in excellent condition as is the carved wood lid, no damage or repairs, just typical signs of use consistent with age.
Size : The Censer makes for a great display measuring 8-5/8 inches long by 6 inches wide and stits 8 inches tall to the top of the lid or 3-3/4 inches at the censer edge. The Censer Bowl has a quality solid bronze weight of 4 pounds 9 ounces.
