Beautiful Ilsted straight Brandy, the world of pipe smoking lost one of its truly greats when Poul passed away. The briar shows awesome straight and flame grain in a warm contrast finish and the heel is completely loaded with birdseye. The shank is long and oval meeting a hand-cut saddle stem with ivorine extension. The stem has a repair on the underside where there was most likely a bite hole near the bit. A very nice piece from Ilsted and sure to continue to appreciate in value as on...e of the finest smoking instruments ever made.

Condition: Very Good. Minor scratches/wear on the rim. Repaired spot near the bit on the underside of the stem. Nomenclature a bit worn.
