Up for auction is a SUPERB 17/18TH CENTURY CHINESE GOLD GILT BRONZE TURQUOISE STONE BUDDHA FIGURE. This figure is a particularly fine example that has several unique and intricate features. The figure has superb details to the face, hair, and hands being one of the nicest examples we have handled or ever offered. The figure is much nicer to handle in person than we can portray in the images.
Condition: Wear to gilding minor marks throughout consistent with early age. Base plate missing. Otherwise substantially fine as seen. All our items studied under UV black light to ensure no hidden damages.
Size: The figure displays very nicely measuring 6 inches tall, by 3 7/8 inches wide, and 2 3/8 inches deep. The figure weighs 626 grams.
