Up for auction is a GREAT c1900 JAPANESE BRONZE PLAYING BUDDHIST BUDDHA FU LION FIGURES CENSER. This censer is a great example that is finely detailed throughout. As you can see the one fu lions head lifts off revealing a compartment for burning incense or keeping other hidden treasures! The figures are great just for displaying as well.
Condition: Light wear consistent with old age. Otherwise very fine with no damage, missing pieces, or repairs. All items studied under UV light to ensure no hidden damages.
Size: The censer is a great example to display measuring 14 inches long, by 8 inches wide, and 8 1/2 inches tall. The censer has a substantial bronze weight of 7.6 kilograms or over 16 pounds.
