Box is in overall very good condition with no cracks or damage to the wood.
The lid is intact and the fiber hinge is in great shape and functions as built.The underside of the lid has a stunning lithograph of a Bald Eagle and is in great condition.90% of the 1883 tax stamp is intact and in very good condition.
The Cigar Makers International Union of America stamp is intact.Most of the paper line...r is missing.
All sides of the box present well, but the underside of the lid is the money shot.
Box is from factory No. 253, 3rd district, state of New York.
Measurements are 6 3/4" long x 5 1/2" wide x 5 1/4" tall
