This is day two of this Extraordinary estate sale, one of the greatest auctions we have held in 15 years. Up for auction is a VERY RARE AND LARGE CHINESE TANG DYNASTY 618-906 SANCAI DEITY ATTENDANT POTTERY FIGURE. This figure is a magnificent and impressively large size, authentic Tang dynasty period example. The figure has a superb and rich Sancai glaze with particularly fine details to the face. Something that one would rarely have the opportunity to acquire outside a major auction house.
Condition: Minor losses and glaze imperfections consistent with early age including old break to base as seen. Overall in substantially fine unaltered original condition. All items checked under UV light to ensure no hidden damage.
Size: Large, 29 inches tall, by 7 1/2 inches wide.
