Antique 17th-19th C. Chinese Fighting DAO Sword with Very Detailed Brass Mounts, having chiseled decorations of floral and dragon designs to guard and pommel. The blade is of very strong steel with copper inlaid dots, both sides with engraved decorations and inscription. Very heavy patina throughout, blade and handle are tight. Rare and very attractive Chinese warrior's weapon.
