Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:19202018 | Brand: Commodore |
Type: Desktop | Model: Commodore PET |
The Commodore Pet Personal Computer System was developed in 1977 and was the first entrant into the consumer market. It is a 6502 microprocessor based system, using a cassette tape interface. The computer was self contained had a monitor attached.
Pictured is the 2001-16N model of the system. It has a separate cassette player attached and the computer casing is made of sheet metal (a luggable, at best).
The computer has not been turned on for over 30 years so capacitors m...ay have discharged over that time and need to be checked before turning the computer on. The fuse is blown (Type: Littel Fuse 313 3AG, 1-6/10A 250V) and will have to be replaced with an equivalent type. Even if it wasn't blown, I would still not turn it on until the electronics have been checked out. As such, this unit is being listed on an as-is basis.
