This auction is for a near-mint Sports Illustrated magazine from August 4, 1980. This issue features Reggie Jackson on the front and does not have a mailing label on it.
I received this item from a relative who worked at Time/Life in the 80s - they were able to get this from Time/Life's archive department, so there wasn't any mailing label affixed to it. It's been in storage out of light - and flat since the 80s when I received it. There is a slight crease in the lower right hand co...rner of the back page, but other than that, the magazine is like it rolled off the presses!
I will mail this in a plastic magazine protector along with cardboard backing for protection during mailing. I will also include a tracking number as well. I have set the initial bid low, so everyone can have a chance to bid on this one. This will also have free shipping since it'll be so light.
