5.29m serial number dates the production of this watch to 1978.Punched certificate is OPEN with no name or date of sale.No Corrosion and engravings are crisp and clear on both sides and match certificate serial.No Date Case back is correct for a 1978 Production.T 0TAT stamp on back of certificate also verifies serial as a 1978 Production
Tritium on dial is custard colored, match perfectly and all original.Tritiu...m on Hands is slightly darker in color and Hour Hand has minor cracking, but no loss of materialNo lume missing on dial or hands. No longer glowing at all. Both Dial and hands react properly under UV light. NOT relumed, 100% Original TritiumNo chips, scratches or damage of any kind on dial.
Original RED BACK Insert has faded to a beautiful Bubble Gum Pink and Navy Blue Color.Stainless Steel Bezel is still sharp and turns smoothly as designed.
This case is excellent, if you like untouched and unpolished watches.Scratches, scuffs and a couple of tiny nicks here and there, but I don't believe this watch has ever been polishedFLAT case sides, thick original lugs, clearly visible chamfers, lug holes are still round.All 4 Lugs are thick, square, fat and symmetrical. Overall an Excellent Sharp Case
Bracelet is a C&I Rivet Bracelet dated 1978 (78). Still Tight, 11 links, Overall Very Good Condition. C&I Rivet Bracelets do not have numbered end links, which is correct for these Bracelets
Watch just came out of service and is running spot on. Passed all Pressure tests. No parts were replaced, all parts original.Even the original Crystal was retained, which has some minor scratches that can be polished out.NO Dial damage. Anything that looks like damage is just distortion from the old original crystal.Not a single part on this watch has been replaced. 100% Original. Still has Original Silver Date Wheel and Twinlock crown.
