This ball was game used on Opening Day 3/28/19, and was used for a deGrom pitch to Rendon, who hit a ground ball to Amed Rosario, who then threw to Alonso at 1B to make the out. This was the FIRST BALL OF THE GAME IN PLAY THROWN TO ALONSO AT 1B AND THE FIRST DEFENSIVE PLAY/OUT OF ALONSO’S CAREER! Alonso’s name is noted on the MLB hologram as hav...ing made the play.
