This listing is for a fine large genuine Chinese Gongshi Scholars Rock/Spirit Viewing Stone of Green Nephrite Jade in an antique stand specifically carved to fit the base of the rock. The rock is representative of the Wuyue five sacred mountains of this Chinese region, and believed to be the embodiment of the transformational powers of nature. This rock stands 8 7/8" tall in it's stand by 7 3/8" long, and weighs approximately 4 lbs 4 oz. It is in exce...llent original condition with no chips, or repairs. Stone has great natural color and shape. The wood stand shows appropriate signs of age and wear, and sits sturdy and securely on any area shelf.
