For sale is an Antique Central Plains (likely Sioux / Dakota) beaded awl case from circa 1890-1910.The case is made of native tanned hide (seems buffalo) and has two hide pendants. A wooden peg keeps the case in shape.
The beadwork is executed in a simple design of alternating lines of light blue and white beads. The pendants are decorated at the rims in salt-and-pepper/scattered beads.
Length of the case itself is circa 6.5" with an additional 5" for the pendants.
