Minty 1910 Edison Red Gem W/Orig. Horn 2 & 4 Minute Phonograph Plays Great

I bring you another beautiful Edison Red Gem this month, the last one I'll be listing this year.
Like the example I sold in November, this Gem has a nearly perfect metal case, with a beautiful original red finish and original gold decorations that are nearly perfect.
The oak cabinet is likewise in outstanding original condition, with a prominent original decal. No splintered veneer, no gaps in the edges, no issues. Shellac is smooth to the touch.
The correct two-piece Fireside horn is original, and its red iridescent surface has been brilliantly restored to its original sheen, with multiple layers of translucent enamel applied with astonishing expertise. There are no dings, no dents, no cracks, no problems. The horn looks exactly like it did when it left the factory more than a century ago. The two-piece horn crane is original and in excellent condition. The little chain is a replacement. It's the only replacement part on the entire phonograph.
The Combination K reproducer is original and plays both 2 and 4 minute cylinders.
The phonograph plays great and needs nothing to be enjoyed as soon as it arrives. Easily makes it all the way through a 4 minute cylinder, with power to spare.
I'll include with the phonograph an Edison Gold Moulded cylinder (2-minute) and an Edison Amberol cylinder (4-minute). If you get tired of listening to them, hundreds of others are available on ebay and off. The phonograph plays almost all cylinders -- wax or celluloid.
I've been selling and shipping antique phonographs, antique radios and antique scientific apparatus for more than 25 years. When you purchase an antique phonograph from me, you'll receive a phonograph that arrives safely because it's been carefully packed (by me, not by some well-intentioned but nonetheless confounded, doe-eyed teenager working at the UPS store who wouldn't know a phonograph from a farm tool), and you'll receive a phonograph that includes thorough but easy-to-understand set-up and operating instructions, so you won't be left scratching your head, trying to figure out how it works. Sure, you can probably get a lower price from Joe and Janet Barn-Find, but when your "bargain" arrives broken, and without any hint of how it works or how you might be able to put it back together, you'll realize that you really do get exactly what you pay for.
If you're bidding from overseas, please contact me in advance for a shipping quote. Auction participants with no prior feedback, or with private feedback, should contact me before placing a bid.
That's about it. Buyer prepays and includes shipping.
