The book is hand numbered, of which this is 509, and features specially commissioned artwork, on the fabric covered slipcase as well as the book itself. This is perhaps Bradbury's most known book along with the Martian Chronicles. This beautiful book is bound in full...-tooled leather with satin moiré endpapers, satin ribbon bookmark and 22kt gold on the spine. The spine has raised bands in the style of classic bookbinding. Beautiful gilt designs ornament the front board and unlike most Easton Press books which are decorated with gilt, this volume has gilt as well as coloring. The paper was made especially for this edition. The leather was cut entirely by hand. Book is clean and unread. Slipcover shows minor shelf wear on bottom otherwise fine.
