This listing is an Antique Circa 1910 8 Spoke Football Leather Head Harness .Although it does not bear a legible maker's mark, this helmet is very likely an A.J. Reach Brand Model No. 4 style 8 spoke head harness.
This great antique helmet is in overall nice condition with intact very clean wool lining and retains its chin strap.
The helmet does have a marking on the back neck area of the helmet, however it is not legible. It could be a maker's mark, or possibly relate...s to the team or player who donned the helmet.
