Native American Sioux Strike A Lite Bag Pouch

This comes from the estate of a long time collector from the new Mexico area who later
relocated to San Jose and then Modesto ca. We will be listing a small portion of
this great collection in the next month so please view our other auctions.
From what we have gathered this is from the Sioux tribe and possibly was madein the 1920s or earlier.  It is lazy stitched with sinew and embellished with thetraditional small glass seed beads you would expect to see on genuine nat...ive Americanbead work from the period. It is done on old harness leather as that was the practice during this period.  It is in fairly good condition with very little bead loss.  (Please view pics)The pouch measures from top to bottom 5" and is 4 1/2" wide. From the top including
the tin cones is 8"
