Antique French porcelain lamp .. elaborately embossed mold, entirely and beautifully hand painted (no transfer), in the Sevres style. Featuring (8) slender panels of colorful flowers, all around; alternating with ornate gilt paste enamel scrolls, flowers, and ornaments. Two (2) gi...lt grotesque faces near the top, connected with gilt swags of plump roses. Metal base, fixture at the top (with switch); the wiring appears original. Apx 16" high overall (to the top of the fixture); the porcelain body is apx 13"; the base is apx 6" diameter. Minor wear to the gilt decorations, consistent with age; otherwise very good condition .. no chips, cracks, or damage. The lamp works fine. Enlarge photos for detail.
