Lanier County Pottery Southern Stoneware Alkaline Glaze. Marked with an M at top near rim. Also, in script is a Large F on the bottom half done with a stick or something used to scratch it in the bottom half of this wash pitcher.
1 Gallon Lanier County Stoneware Marked in script M at rim and an F on bottom side of piece. There is more scratched script but covered in dark glaze and hard piece together. It is 10” in height, 6” across bottom, 5 5/8” opening at top side. 8” at ...widest point. Beautiful piece in great condition. Look at all photos. Beautiful glaze. Thick dark amazing glaze but covering up some other scratches/script in bottom side of jug. Can’t make it out. There is a firm M at top side and an Large F on the bottom side of wash pitcher. This is an Auction but will take offers. Sipping professionally and insured. Pictures don’t do it justice.
