Up for auction is a RARE Vintage Luigi Fabris Porcelain Lace Couple Figurine. This OUTSTANDING piece measures approximately 4.75 inches tall and approximately 10.5 inches wide. This lovely couple are relaxing in a bed of beautiful delicate applied porcelain tiny flowers and leaves and grass. The lady is gorgeous gown made completely of cream colored porcelain lace ruffles. It has a pink bodice and cream porcelain lace off the shoulder neckline. ... She has a delicate applied porcelain pink flower at the neckline. In her hands she is holding an open book. He is wearing a burgundy coat and pants with gold accents. He has an applied porcelain lace ruffled ascot at his neck. He has a black hat with gold trim. They are on a cream porcelain base with gold scrolling accents. This piece is marked on the bottom with red Fabris anchor symbol and signed L Fabris. It also has the number 455 in red. This AMAZING piece is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING condition. The only tiny flaw I see is a tiny chip in the lace on her skirt bottom by her shoe...see pic 11. It is so small that in my opinion it does not detract from her beauty. This would make an amazing addition to any collection and a true heirloom.
