Sevres Porcelain And Dore Gilt Bronze Mounts Centerpiece Celeste Blue Baluster Form Huge 15” tall x19” wide x 10.75” deep. This piece is monumental in size and fabulously impressive. One side features a bucolic scene of children at play and the other side has exuberant florals painted in polychrome enamels, all accented with hand-painted gold borders. The dore gilded bronze ormolu mounts have a scrolling grapevine design with horned and bearded masks front and back. Mark to under...side of porcelain is intertwined Ls with the initials AL underneath Condition: The porcelain has white discolorations throughout to the celeste blue base. There is some reddish brown discoloration to the bottom interior of the bowl. There is gilt loss to the bronze. There are some tiny cracks to the bronze at the base mount. There appears to be some slight residue of an epoxy or other fixative where the handles attach to the base and at one handle at the top. Please see photos for full description of condition.
