RARE 1800'S WESTERWALD INCISED COBALT DECORATED STONEWARE CROCK! MINT. I've been selling lots of items.. downsizing and so much to have to let go of. This has always been one of the crocks I have loved the most. I have a few more like this that are smaller.. but nothing that compares to beauty of this. It is not one of those huge crocks you have no place to set.. it is 9 7/8 inches high handle to handle it measures 9 3/4 inches and the base is 6 1/4 inches opening at ...top is 7 1/4. NOTICE the bird design on both sides..marked all around the crock.
The crock is from the 1800's.. so many people claiming that their westerwald is that early and it's just not the case. Look at these photos. The turn marks from the wheel all over the piece. It is in mint condition. The coloring is right on and no cracks, chips or hidden damage you can't see. Check my feedback..
