For sale is this Meissen Porcelain figure from the 20th century of the flute player of the Galant Orchestra created originally in the 18th century by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Friedrich Elias Meyer. The figure is in very good pre-owned condition with two very minor flaws that cannot be seen: the part of the flute that he is holding in his RIGHT hand broke off and was glued back on. It cannot be seen, but it is still there. Also, on the back of the piece, where... his pony tail is being held by a ribbon, the tiniest piece of ribbon on the end is gone. It is also not noticeable. Please see photo close ups. The price for this piece has been lowered to reflect these tiny flaws. The crossed swords appear at the bottom of the piece. The piece is 5-1/2" high.
