Being offered are my LAST PAIR of throat protective caps for the Western Electric 555 Receiver. When 555 Drivers were originally shipped to the customer, they arrived with the cap you see on the driver to prevent foreign particles etc. from getting into the phasing plug/diaphragm area. Both of these caps have perfect threads.
