This is a gorgeous highly desirable vintage teacup and saucer set by Aynsley. Fine bone china, made in England. Beautifully painted and signed J A Bailey. It features splendid cabbage roses . Gold exterior highlights the stunning interior. It is in very nice vintage condition but...it has a small split under paint on the edge. Pre firing likely a dry out line. Not a crack and it is small and visible in the photo. There is a smidge of gold wear on the thumb rest also visible in the pict...ures and if you examine the underside of the saucer you will find a small amount of crazing..not visible at all on the front of the saucer and none on the cup. Only seen if you flip it upside down and examine it. I only noticed it when I went to photograph it. Priced low for a highly collectible pair. Thank you.
