Antique early 19th c French Napoleonic Officer's Sword with Damascus Steel Blade.
Mounts are of steel or iron, the grip is leather bound with original wire slightly loose. Iron scabbard. The blade is of rare quality, Damascus steel and almost entire blade is covered with unusual etched decorations, to almost very tip of the blade. Condition is fare with much patina and age wear, blade and hilt have slight play. Likely early 1800s Napoleonic wars period.
