This is a John F. Kennedy signed letter to one of his staff members, dated November 18, 1952. It references the election that would have been held on November 4 of that year. I have seen some nearly identical typed letters to other staff members as far as layout and content, so appears this was a generic letter used for all his staff members. Each one is unique... though, words ending at different parts on the lines, etc., indicating they were all individually typed and not copies. Most of these letters are all dated within November. The ink is faded and not as sharp as it once was, understandably. The paper looks like it was trimmed down from its original size, there are some fray marks at the top and, minimal on the bottom. The front of the paper is an aged lighter yellowed color, whereas the back of the paper appears darker or more browned, presumably by the means it was stored. The back has some spotting, but not water marks, more like lighter age spots. The paper has no tears other than the corned that appear trimmed, it does have wrinkles but no folds or bend other than how it was originally mailed. I say this letter looks trimmed due to the the edges not being crisp and the frayed paper at the top, but more importantly the way the folds are, normally you would think the three sections equidistant, however the bottom fold is smaller than the top.
