The clock has a bronze & slate case with a fantastic design which is in great condition for age with all its original gilded finish to the bronze mountsr and has superb large proportions. The clock features a amazing high quality bronze detailed figurine with a stunning original bronzed finish, the detail to the figure and the rest of the case is fantastic and just looks amazing on displayThe Clock Measures - 21.75 inches high x 16.5 inches wide x 6 inches deepDialThe clock has a 3 inch diameter white enamel porcelain dial which is in ok conditon but does have a couple of tight hairlines to the centres, the dial has roman numerals and has its original fancy hands. The dial has a glazed brass bezelMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking silk suspension movement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its french silk suspension pendulum and striking as it should. This is a stunning antique French classical mantel clock with a typical Empire period design which dates the clock to around circa 1850. The Clock Measures - 21.75 inches high x 16.5 inches wide x 6 inches deep
Dial
The clock has a 3 inch diameter white enamel porcelain dial which is in ok conditon but does have a couple of tight hairlines to the centres, the dial has roman numerals and has its original fancy hands. The dial has a glazed brass bezel
Movement
The movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking silk suspension movement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its french silk suspension pendulum and striking as it should. Condition Report
