The clock case is made up of 2 nautical ship wheel drums with a a pillar to the centre with a brass rope wrapped around to add to the nautical theme, the left drum holds the android barometer and the right drum holds the french 8 day movement.The bronze case has all its original finish which is in fantastic condition for ageThe clock Measures 6.5 inches high x 11.75 inches wide x 3.5 inches deepDialThe clock dial is a 3.5 inch diameter dial with roman numerals and the barometer has a 3.5 inch diameter engraved silvered dial, both dials sit behind glazed fixed brass bezels to protect themMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day timepiece movement with a platform escapement which is in full working order keeping and comes with a winding key, the movement dates to circa 1890.
