This offering is for a 19th century Pennsylvania Appliqued Quilt. The bed cover features a wonderful pattern of cocks comb with roosters around a four heart cluster in six squares. The six blocks are edged in turkey red framed in red and white. Originally there was a strip of turkey red that ran down the center but some *$$&@!% decided to cut it from the quilt. One of the blocks has also suffered a large split to the applique as seen in our photo's, a second block has a smaller spl...it. In addition a couple of the seams have small to large separations where the block meets the border. The quilt is summer weight, lined on the back with off white cotton but never quilted. The size is small at app. 54" by 72". The quilt was truly beautiful at one point and I'm hoping someone with the skills can set it right. We have attempted to show the very worst of the damage in our close up photo's. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 18.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
