Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of crystalline native silver from Kongsberg!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex crystal of native silver that exhibits pronounced cubic features!!! This chunky, robust crystal exhibits sharp, cubic modifications and complex growth features with silvery metallic luster and a handsome "antique"... patina!!! This historic locale is famous for its wire silver specimens, however it also produced rare crystals that were prized for their stout forms and cubic features!!! This specimen is from the collection of Irv Brown!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
