Up for sale is an antique early redware apple butter crock recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA. Offered as found with rim chip and old repair to bottom, almost seems drilled and then plugged. Great looker 3.75" tall and 4.25" across, opening 3 5/8". Nice manganese glaze. Unsigned unmarked. Glaze glitches & misses common with older pieces. Nice.
