Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, 19th century example of eulytine from the type locale in Germany!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of dark amber to brownish colored crystals of eulytine scattered about the matrix!!! The crystals exhibi...t glassy luster with highly complex forms and range in size up to 2mm!!! The crystals range from simple tetrahedra to highly complex, modified groups of interpenetrant crystals!!! The crystals are simply incredible upon close inspection with a loupe or scope!!! This specimen retains several historic labels including an affixed label from the Humboldt Museum in Berlin, and labels from the Pech and Janson'sche collections!!! The Pech label dates back to at least the 1880s and the specimen is likely even older!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
