DESCRIPTION
Here's one beautiful, RARE Original 1963 Oxford 12L6N Alnico 12" Speaker! This is THE ONE folks - the speaker originally used by Fender in their 60's Blonde Bassman 2x12 cabinets! Tested with a guitar and vintage tube amp to moderate volume, and its sounds Fantastic!!
The basket is in great overall condition. The cone is stamped P4643 and appears to be original and flawless (although a bit dusty)! The solder terminals were also very carefully cleaned up and ar...e ready to go. The voice coil measure 7.3 ohms (DC Resistance), and has no discernible rub when gently pressed around the edges.
