I am not an expert by any means of this. I bought the contents of a storage unit and this was in there. I did a little research of these and I did not clean the oil that is spotted on the blade as I have read that it could decrease the value so I would leave it up the one who purchases this if they want to clean it up or not. Again I am not an expert so the buy it now price is just a number so feel free to shoot me an offer that you feel is more reasonable the worse thing I can do is s...ay no. The number on the bayonet is 6925 also has the marking OE WG. The Scabbard appears to be a little rusty, as the bayonet does not appear to very little rust. the spring mechanism seems to be working great.
