A nice 1828 sampler made by "Mary Ann Warren aged 12 years 1828, May I grow wiser and better as life away wears". Nice little effect with the word "away" when she apparently ran out space. Reframed in last quarter century or so. See cut edge visible in frame of edge of sampler. Yellower photos taken in direct sunlight. 7.5 X 16 inches including the frame.
