LARGE Vintage Beautifully Hand Quilted Dated 1987 & Signed BURSTING STAR Quilt

This quilt measures 95" by 104" across on the way we positioned on the bed for the photos (but that seems to be the wrong way, please read further) and weighs 4 3/4 lbs un-boxed. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
It is possible we placed the quilt in a wrong fashion, as the dated and "signature" then appear on the left side of the bed, not on the bottom, as they should.
By rotating the quilt 90 degrees, it would of course then measure 104" by 95" across, more in line with a q...ueen size bed.
The year, 1987, appears on 2 hearts, one with "19" and the other one with the "87". The initials, VR, are also inside a heart that is close to the "87" heart.
The piecing was done by machine, the quilting by hand. The quilting includes hearts in all the details, including the feathered "circles" (hearts instead of circles), all around the borders, corners, etc. We had space to post only 2 details of the quilting.
We combine shipping.
