A very good quality vintage English Art Deco period engine turned silver plate i.e. E.P.N.S (electro-plated nickel silver) cigarette case measuring approximately 3.5 in (90 mm) x 3.15 in (80 mm).The case with vacant cartouche is stamped with the Maker J.C.Ltd Made In England and has PAT.No 216419 and the interior is lined with faux tortoiseshell.Each of the geometric expandable bands is stamped NICKEL at one end with PAT No 210313 at the other.The case has a strong hinge, push bu...tton release catch and snaps shut securely.It is curved slightly to fit comfortably in the hand and the plate is in very good order throughout with only light expected surface marks commensurate with age and use.A lovely stylish case. weighing just over 132 grams which would make a great addition to anyones collection, display or for use etc....
