This is an antique Singer electric sewing machine ~ model #66 "Red Eye". As far as I can tell, these were made in the 1910's and 1920's. The sewing machine is black with lovely detail work including painted decorations. It also has detailed metal work on the front of the machine and above the motor. This listing includes everything pictured in the photos: the sewing machine, the foot pedal with machine and light plugs, the vintage bobbin winder, and the assortment of pieces in the last... photo (most of which I do not know what they are!) The sewing machine does not come with a case or a lamp.
The sewing machine has been tested and works, but with a hitch. When connected directly to a power supply (i.e. not through foot pedal) the sewing machine works, but gets caught up on the loose belt. When plugged into the foot pedal, the sewing machine works sporadically (probably a short in the wiring). So, the machine does work, but does need some repairs to be in perfect working condition.
Overall, this Singer sewing machine appears to be in remarkable good condition with only minor wear. (e.g. occasional scratches or scuffs, missing paint). It has obviously been well used (i.e. paint has rubbed off where hands/arms would go), but also well cared for.
