Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:15124814 |
The uniforms of US Army paratroopers, tankers, "mountain men", and infantry of WW2 have been of great interest to collectors for decades, leading Shelby Stanton to write a comprehensive reference book on the subject in 1991. It was first printed with softcovers in 1994. This "US ARMY UNIFORMS OF WW2" PARATROOPER TANKER JACKET PANTS BOOTS REFERENCE BOOK is in very good condition, with some scattered nicking to the edges of the spine and covers, some "browning" to the interior covers..., a very small "dog ear" to the top corner of page 90, and with some scattered age wear evident (most pictured). Otherwise, the book is in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it boasts elegantly illustrated softcovers, and sports 272 pages full of descriptive text, period pictures, and black and white photographs of service and dress uniforms, helmets, hats, caps, and hoods, HBT uniforms, experimental and standard M-1943 field uniforms, mountain, tanker, and paratrooper uniforms, Women's Army Corps (WAC) uniforms and boots, and many other interesting pieces of clothing. A fine example of a "US ARMY UNIFORMS OF WW2" PARATROOPER TANKER JACKET PANTS BOOTS REFERENCE BOOK. Now celebrating our 20th year on eBay.
