‼️ PLEASE READ TO ENSURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING‼️Original WWII Era M1 Helmet. This is a mid- to late-WWII M1 helmet. It is a front seam McCord manufactured helmet with swivel bales. The chinstrap features the early war time brass buckle hardware with raised bar, NOTE that the buckle hardware are quite oxidized and the chinstrap has a few rust stains. This helmet is in rough shape as it is missing the majority of its cork texture and most of the paint has rusted away on th...e inside and outside of the helmet. The heat stamp is no longer visible. The helmet also has a stress crack on the front left side. One of the bales is bent but it still swivels. This helmet will make for a good restoration project for the avid collector and/or re-enactor. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
