This is an Antique English Arts & Crafts Hammered / Peened Pewter Six Slice Toast Rack.At the time of the original listing, we are in the process of listing a large number of antique and vintage items purchased in England. These items are an eclectic mix including gold and sterling jewelry, and many unique, and in some cases, one of a kind items, in wood, brass, and iron, and other materials as well.
At the time of the original listing, this was one... of three toast racks being listed, and we had one toast rack remaining for sale from a previous trip to England.
The toast rack has a classic Arts & Crafts look and is thought to be of the Period.
The toast rack weighs 5.6 ounces. The of the base is 5 1/4" x 3 1/4". The height to the top of dividers is 2 5/8", and the height to the top of the handle is about 4 1/4". There is no maker's mark nor other marks on the toast rack.
