This is a beautiful little tea cup with no handle. It dates circa 1735 and is a prime example of the Meissen production at that time. The designer was Heroldt who brought vibrant colors and chinoiserie style to the decoration of the very white porcelain. I think the scenes around the cup show the people bewing water for tea. There is a scene shown on the interior bottom of the cup as well as an interior gold border. This cup is a great study piece. It stands 1 3/4" tall and has a... diameter of 3". The condition is as shown - there are 4 rim chips which go into the gold border but not into the painting at all. This itemis from my personal collection. I used it in my lectures during the time Idisplayed at antique shows.I will combine purchases. I can send more photos on request. I am a retired antiques show dealer.
