Very rare and original, ca1900 Pair of Native American Cree Indian Bead Decorated, High Top Hide Moccasins.
&tbsp;&tbsp;&tbsp;&tbsp;This outstanding Pair of turn of the 20th century Cree Moccasins each measure approx. 10 1/4" long at their soft hide sole and 7 1/2” tall at their high top cuff. The decoration is beautiful – all hand spot stitched and featuring stylized floral designs.
These wonderful Cree Indian Moccasins are thread sewn... by hand with spot stitched beadwork using translucent and faceted red, translucent green and light green, candy apple red, maroon, white and medium blue colored glass trade beads. The beadwork creates wonderful, stylized floral designs on each Moccasin. The Moccasins feature a high top, bead decorated cuff and applied tongues. Both Moccasins retain their original rawhide laces.
The Moccasins offered here are unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period. They are NOT reproductions or modern recreations but original Cree Moccasins crafted around the turn of the 20th century. These rare and beautiful, ca1900 Cree Indian Bead Decorated Moccasins are in very good condition.
